Update zips are only for people who already bought CAP Defender Logbook™. Enter your update key from the purchase email, or from Settings → Update key in the program, to unlock the download for your platform. The program can open this page with your key already filled in — no typing needed.
Portable pack for Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit. Unzip to a new folder and copy your data folder into it.
Portable pack for macOS 11 and later. Unzip to a new folder and copy your data folder into it.

Lost your update key? VossTek reissues it when you confirm the email on your purchase receipt.
Your records live in data/logbook.db and data/missions/ next to the program. Do not delete that folder.
Download the zip for the platform you paid for. Unzip it to a new folder. Do not unzip over a copy that is still running.
data into the new folderCopy the whole data folder from the old copy into the new copy. Then start the new program — confirm a couple of missions are still there, then retire the old folder.
From the mission log, export CSV/backup before you move folders. That file is the paper trail if a copy goes missing.
